The Mid Antrim Motor Club run an indoor karting championship which is held at Speedway Karting, Doagh. This championship is held on the first Tuesday of each month and starts at 7.30pm sharp. This championship has been running since 1992, and it has been won by some of the best drivers N.Ireland has to offer. Although the championship runs over the 12 months of the year, it is only the competitors best 6 scores that count for the championship. This means that you can afford to miss a few months but still challenge for the title. The idea behind this championship is to allow motorsport enthusiasts to participate in a very competitive championship without the expenses that occur in rallying or racing. Everyone is welcome to come along for the crack, no matter how inexperienced. |
